I have learned that integumentary system is the most exposed system and the protective covering of our body. I also leaerned about the 3 main layers of the skin such as epidermis- the outer layer skin, dermis- the 2nd layer and has blood vessels, and subcutaneous fascia- also kinown as hypodermis. And also the different degree burn such as 1st degree, 2nd degree, third degree and forth. Lastly, I leraned about the nails and hair.
If I'm going to explain this to someone,I will make a concept map and I will show them some pictures of skin with labels of different parts, the nail and hair. I will explain first the funstions of Integumentary system. I will discuss the parts of the skin, its 3 main layers and the others. I will discuss also how skins are healed and the dgree burns of the skin. And I will discuss also the parts of our nails and hair. And lastly, explain to them how our nails and hair grow even if they are compose of dead cells.
Ivy was the one who reported this chapter. She read her report on that day and we understand it a little bit. With the help of our teacher we understand it easily.
